1. Project Overview 📖

Smart School is a cloud-based school management system with over 40 features designed to streamline operations for parents, teachers, and admins. The project involved revamping the outdated app to fix usability issues and create a fresh, user-friendly interface. The goal was to enhance the overall experience and attract more schools, driving higher customer adoption rates.

2. Problem Statement ⁉️

The old application led to low user engagement, increased customer churn, and difficulty in attracting new schools, ultimately impacting the platform’s growth and business goals.

The key problems were:

2.1 Complex User Flow

Navigating the system is cumbersome, requiring too many clicks for simple tasks. This frustrates users and slows down their workflow, impacting both efficiency and satisfaction.

2.2 Communication Gaps

While occasional errors are normal, the platform lacked proper messaging to inform users about issues. This led to disrupted tasks like homework submissions and payments, causing frustration and eroding trust in the platform’s reliability.

2.3 Outdated Design

The system’s outdated interface struggled with adaptability across modern devices and couldn’t support diverse usage patterns like other apps, leading to frequent crashes and lower user satisfaction.
